We respect your privacy. Klipo is designed to run in your browser and to use as little data as possible. This page explains what happens when you use the site.

What we don't collect

• No account is required; we don't collect your name or email address.
• We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and no visitor analytics.
• We don't store the videos or audio files you download on our servers.

How downloading works

• When you paste a TikTok link, your browser sends it to a third-party service, tikwm.com, to get the download links. If that fails, the request goes through a fallback function on our site (hosted on Cloudflare), which forwards the link to the same service and doesn't keep it.
• When you paste an Instagram link, the post code (the last part of the link) is sent to a function on our site (hosted on Cloudflare), which asks third-party services — instagram7.com, and as fallbacks instagramfix.com and uuinstagram.com — for the file links, returns them to your browser and doesn't keep them.
• Videos and images are downloaded straight from TikTok's and Instagram's servers to your device, and the audio is extracted inside your browser. Files never pass through our servers.
• These third parties (tikwm.com, instagram7.com, instagramfix.com, uuinstagram.com and TikTok's and Instagram's servers) see your IP address like any website you visit, and are governed by their own privacy policies.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type for security and delivery, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Local storage on your device

We store only in your browser (localStorage): your preferred language, whether you've visited before, and the names of files you've downloaded (to avoid duplicate names). This data is never sent to us, and you can delete it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
